We’ve been family owned and operated since 1984, beginning in Cairns, North Queensland, Australia, and growing to become of the largest fiberglass pools manufacturers in the world. Over the years, we’ve manufactured over 3,500 swimming pools annually.

An American Made Pool Company

In 2009, Barrier Reef Pools began manufacturing in the United States and opened a 50,000-square-foot facility in South Carolina to house our operations.

Once pool installers became familiar with the fiberglass pool and the ease of installation, the word got out. Soon pool installers were coming to us for more pools. At this point, the ability to produce the highest quality pools and to do it consistently has become a priority. This prompted the building of the manufacturing facility. Our plant was constructed in Timmonsville, South Carolina, and has been growing and expanding ever since to facilitate the demand of the market.

Our company has distribution centers in Alabama, Illinois, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, and Tennessee. We also have a distribution center in Ontario, Canada, to serve the Canadian market. As the fiberglass pool market continues to grow and dominate the U.S. market, our company is well-positioned for long-term growth and expansion into more American markets.
